ADAVB BOQ Specialist bursaries on offer

ADAVB BOQ Specialist CPD Practice Bursary

If you are a practice or recent graduate based in Victoria, you might want to consider applying for one of two bursaries on offer by the  Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch and BOQ Specialist.  The CPD Practice Bursary and Recent Graduate Bursary recognise and support one dental practice and one recent graduate per year in Victoria committed to quality learning through continuing professional development.

The ADAVB BOQ Specialist CPD Practice Bursary consists of a grant valued at $10,000 to be used for professional development and training purposes.

“The bursary has improved our practice by helping to upskill the clinicians to provide better care for our patients both clinically and in communication,” 2021 ADAVB BOQ Specialist CPD Practice Bursary recipient Dr Thivagar Nirmalann said.

“We can serve our patients better with a wider and broader knowledge base. I would encourage other clinics to apply for this bursary to help upskill their team and take their practice to the next level.”

The ADAVB BOQ Specialist Recent Graduate Bursary is for a grant of $5000 to be spent on ADAVB professional development courses.

“We’ve used the bursary to run clinic-wide training and on-site CPD, including consulting services with ADAVB Practice Plus and they’ve been outstanding,” 2021 ADAVB BOQ Specialist Recent Graduate Bursary recipient Dr Evangeline Alphonse said.

“Applying for this bursary, whether you win it or not, is a great way to reflect on what you’ve achieved as a dentist to date and to be proud of how much you’ve given back to this profession and your community.”

Applications for both bursaries close 5pm, Monday 31 October 2022.
