Thursday is International Women’s Day, and to mark the occasion the Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch is hosting an ‘Oral health of women’ breakfast and seminar in Melbourne.

The seminar—to be held at Stamford Plaza Hotel this Thursday 8 March between 8am and 9.30am—will be chaired by ADAVB president Dr Susan Wise and features women’s health expert and Melbourne Univeristy lecturer, Dr Elizabeth Milford.

Dr Milford will discuss biological and sociological influences on oral health, in particular how life stages such as puberty, pregnancy and menopause impact on oral health.

Both ADAVB members and non-members are welcome to attend. For more information and to register visit the ADAVB website or email
