To celebrate its 100th anniversary in October, the Adelaide Dental School is hosting a special clinic day followed by a gala dinner.

The current dean and head of School, Professor Richard Logan, has invited all graduates and partners to attend and be part of this significant event in the history of the University.

From the first intake of students in 1919 to the current day, the University of Adelaide Dental School has been a significant educator of Australian dentists and oral health therapists. Graduates of the School have achieved significant impact locally, throughout Australia and internationally.

“The School will celebrate the 100th anniversary of its beginning with a clinic day on Friday 18th October and a major dinner on Saturday 19th October where current and former staff will enjoy a walk down those 100 years,” Professor Logan said.

“As well, it is the 100-year anniversary of the Adelaide University Dental Students’ Society.

“It is certain that this will be a very popular event so please don’t leave your plans to join us until it is too late.”

All proceeds will support the University’s Community Outreach Dental Program treating disadvantaged members of the community.
