The peak business organisation representing manufacturers and suppliers of dental products, the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA), has an impressive new line-up of state branch leadership teams following a series of local elections that concluded last week.

“The ADIA state branches are a vital component of our member engagement architecture and provide a platform for members to understand and influence the commercial, technical and regulatory environment in which the dental industry operates,” said ADIA CEO Troy Williams

The leadership of each ADIA State Branch is elected for a two-year term to provide a vital link between the association, its members and external stakeholders across the oral health community within their area of operation.

According to Williams, elected individuals are recognised across the oral health community in their state as possessing considerable experience in not only matters associated with the supply of dental products, but also some of the challenges associated with delivering oral health care.

“The new ADIA strategic plan has a vision for an industry that empowers oral health professionals to advance the health and wellbeing of all Australians. The experience of the new ADIA state branch leadership will greatly assist ADIA in delivering program for members that deliver upon this vision,” said Williams.
