FDI World Dental Federation has launched an upgraded version of its Whole Body Health platform, a comprehensive digital resource that supports dental practitioners and other health professionals in understanding and promoting the strong links between oral health and overall systemic health.
The updated platform offers expanded scientific content, including guidance on recognising and managing oral manifestations of systemic diseases, as well as new resources to help dentists and dental teams integrate whole body health approaches into daily practice.
By highlighting the associations between oral health and noncommunicable diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and other systemic conditions, the platform aims to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration and support improved patient diagnosis and management.
