There’s still time to register for the 2018 Public Oral Health Innovations Conference being held on Friday 20 April at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre—anticipated by organisers to be bigger than ever.

This year’s theme, ‘Engagement Matters’, will explore how dental professionals can better engage with patients for superior health outcomes—and will be jam-packed with engaging discussions, the latest presentations from the dental trade, and opportunities to network with colleagues and leaders in the field.

Featured speakers include keynote Dr Lynne Maher, director of Innovation at Ko Awatea Auckland, whose presentation will focus on the importance of making patient engagement more person-centred.

Delegates will also hear from speakers presenting on teledentistry, using emojis to overcome communication challenges with young patients, the hot-button issue of the sugar tax and much more—and to top it off, multi-award-winning broadcaster and journalist, Dr Norman Swan, is facilitating the event.

Register for the conference now, and for the range of pre-conference workshops being held on Thursday 19 April. The workshops are a great way to further enrich your engagement with the conference themes.
