One full day of hands-on practice supervised by endodontists
Hands-on experience with a range of rotary NiTi systems in plastic blocks, plastic teeth & extracted teeth
Hands-on experience with apex location
Hands-on experience with obturation of canals using different systems
Simple and effective root canal obturation techniques
Experience working through an operating microscope
Aseptic endodontic strategies to achieve maximum microbiological control
Prerequisite: Participants enrolling in this course, must hold a current/valid radiation license
Program Delivery
Online web lectures via Learning Management System, Canvas.
A short MCQ (multiple choice questions) to cement your knowledge on the lecture topics. An additional one hour of Scientific CPD is awarded.
Face-to-Face hands-on preclinical lab session to be held at the Melbourne Dental School, Ground Floor Preclinical Laboratory, 723 Swanston Street, Carlton Vic 3053.
IMPORTANT: Please note, the online content for this program, must be completed in full before attending the face-to-face hands-on sessions at the Melbourne Dental School on Friday 24 November 2023 (8.30am – 5.00pm)
Upon enrolment into this program, access to the Canvas Community for the online learning will be granted by the end of January 2023.
