A small charity trading as Just 4 Kids Children’s Charity is calling on dentists and dental practices to become financial supporters.
In June 2024, husband and wife team Tony and Joanne Gardiner launched the charity’s new initiative, the Paediatric Dental Program, where the charity contributes to specialist dental treatment for children that their parents can’t afford. Their aim is to support children under the age of 18 who are in need due to illness, or social and economic disadvantage—with a special focus on improving children’s dental health
In less than two years, the Just 4 Kids Paediatric Dental Program has supported 50 children with more than $69,000 worth of essential dental treatment. While most children have been from Queensland, families in every other Australian state except Tasmania and the Northern Territory have also been helped.
In this year alone, the charity has already supported 19 children with over $25,000 in dental care.
As the end of the financial year approaches, now is the perfect to make a tax-deductible donation—the charity holds DGR status —and help the Gardiners and their team continue providing urgent paediatric dental treatment to children in need.
