There’s still time to register for the eviDent Foundation’s Mouthguard March campaign—and demonstrate your dental practice’s commitment to protecting the teeth of Australians who participate in sport by ensuring they are wearing a well-fitted mouthguard.

Only 36 per cent of Australian players wear a mouthguard when playing a contact sport, and even less wear a mouthguard during training. Furthermore, sports-related injuries account for nearly 40 per cent of dental injuries.

Therefore, there really is no better time than now to remind parents and players of the importance of wearing a mouthguard during sport—while partnering with eviDent—to improve the oral health of Australians.

The campaign—which invites dental practices to contribute a portion of their sales of mouthguards to eviDent—follows a very successful model of corporate partnership. According to eviDent’s publicity material, participation “could enhance your brand and stimulate sales and market share”.

As a Mouthguard March participant you will receive:

  • A fantastic colour poster for display in your practice for all your patients to see
  • Engaging campaign images for use on your website and social media platforms
  • Promotion of your participation on eviDent’s website, eviDent’s social media, and Caring For Your Kids’ Teeth Facebook page
  • Inclusion of your practice name in reports about the campaign, including in the eviDent Foundation annual report
  • Provision of eviDent Foundation materials to display such as research project brochures, annual reports, and banners
  • Issue of tax receipts (for donations only).
