Australia’s next generation of dental professionals will gather in Melbourne this August for one of the biggest student events on the dental calendar.
The 2026 Australian Dental Students’ Alliance (ADSA) National Convention will bring together dental, oral health, dental technology and prosthetics students from every university across the country for three days of learning, networking and professional development.
Running from 28-30 August at the Stamford Plaza Melbourne, this year’s convention carries the theme ‘The Profession in Motion’, reflecting the rapid evolution of dentistry and the importance of preparing students for the future of practice.
Delegates can attend national lectures from leading speakers, explore the latest products and technologies at the sponsor tradeshow, participate in live panel debates, and rotate through nine hands-on workshops designed to build clinical confidence.
The convention opens on Friday afternoon with the sponsor tradeshow and Welcome Social Night and Saturday features a full day of lectures and panel discussions before concluding with the Gala Dinner and awards presentation. The event wraps up on Sunday with workshop rotations running until early afternoon.
